I WENT FROM A MUSEUM NERD AND PROFESSOR TO A F**K YEAH LIFE COACH SO I COULD START CREATING AND LIVING MY OWN JOYOUS AND AMAZING LIFE.

THIS BIZ STARTED BECAUSE I COULDN’T FIND ANY KICK-ASS COACHES OR RESOURCES FOR WOMEN LIKE ME–40ISH, JUST GETTING STARTED ON OUR WORLD DOMINATION TOUR, AMBITIOUS AF, NO KIDS, AND SAYS FUCK A LOT.  

After years of feeling dread when thinking about my job, I quit, sold my house, and moved to Los Angeles where I started my entrepreneurial journey. And now I’m busy creating my own fuck yeah life, so I’ve enrolled in a crime and thriller writing program so I can create the murder mystery series that I’ve been cooking up in my brain for YEARS.

As I was making these big shifts in my life, I kept wishing I had a partner-in-crime to help me sort this stuff out in real time.  Someone to run through ideas with, figure out how to make these crazy dreams my reality, and get my dick brain under control when I was  freaking out. I also CRAVED a plan–something actionable that broke down my big goals into concrete steps. Oh, and I wanted an assistant who would research, plan, and coordinate it all so that I didn’t have to spend hours upon hours googling shit! And that’s exactly what I’ve created for you!

I am that partner-in-crime, blueprint creating, cheerleading, dick brain managing concierge of your dreams. I stumbled my way through my own fuck it to “F**k Yeah!” life transition so that you could have all the support you need to start living your own.

Quit my job as a successful University professor to pursue my dream of becoming a coach & starting my own biz.

I created a life that is geographically flexible so I can be where I want to be when I want to be there.

I enrolled in two-year-long program at the University of Cambridge in Crime and Thriller Writing. J.B. Fletcher, watch out! (Stay tuned for publication updates!)

I moved to the UK with my gang (dog and two cats).

Dreaming and scheming about starting my own needlepoint canvas biz.

Oh, and I am JUST getting started.

I AM ON A MISSION TO HELP WOMEN LIVE THEIR BIGGEST AND BEST FUCK YEAH LIFE (FYL THIS IS TRAILBLAZING SHIT, SO WE NEED TO HAVE A GAME PLAN AND PARTNERS-IN-CRIME. IF THAT IS WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING FOR THEN FUCK YEAH! YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE!!! ARE YOU WITH ME? WE’RE DOIN’ THIS!

Here’s the tea on me…

  • I have ADHD (diagnosed in my 40s, so I am just learning how to partner with my brain) so there is A LOT happening in my head!

  • I am a Leo sun, Virgo rising. Reflector. Enneagram 4, 3 wing. Fire Dragon. (It’s a lot)

  • I have lived in three countries and five times zones. Since leaving college I have moved 13 times. I know a lot about moving.

  • I have two cats (Birdie and Cookie Flores) and a Boston Terrier (Dr. Marty Cohen). I am obsessed with them and they are my besties and probably a big reason I decided I needed to work from my home.

  • I’ve had an on again, off again relationship with Los Angeles since the late 90s. I love LA! It is my true spirit home. Don’t talk shit about LA! It is the best! Right now we are on again, after I was with Florida and then Texas (never again!) for a bit. I am currently considering an open relationship with London.

  • I love England. I got a masters and my PhD there. I have some of my dearest friends there and visit as often as I can (COVID has been real hard on this). They also have some of the best museums. I’ve even applied for a visa to live there.

  • Museums are my jam! I have a PhD in Museum Studies. They are my happy place wherever I go. They were critical to me as a kid because they help my ADHD brain (I realize now) learn things in a different way and get excited about learning.

  • I am trained as a historian (art and museums) so I am always interested in knowing the backstory of something and making historical connections to things. I also love a good nerdy history documentary.

  • I think it is important to always have some sort of creative practice in your life. Mine is needlepoint. Most often my house is a mess of threads and stitching tools and I am working on a few projects at a time. I have recently begun designing my own canvases.

  • Most of the time while I am stitching I am watching some form of murder show on TV–true crime, procedural drama, historic detective capers–I love it all. I also read mysteries, but more often watch or listen to them (podcasts) because I am stitching at the same time. The only problem is that I can’t do subtitled shows (and I know there are some good ones) because, again, I am stitching.

  • I am writing a memoir and a murder mystery (to be clear—these are separate projects).
